If I Only Had the Test!

Yeh, it's sad, believe me, Teacher,
When your life's a double feature
Of only prep and stress.
But I could show all I know, be an owl, not a dodo
If I only had the test.
I'm afraid there's no use lyin' I'm just a-memorizin',
And fated to be assessed.
I'd breed tests like a guppy....
I'd be docile as a puppy....
I'd be clever as a yuppie....
If the VAMer is a VAMer who knows best.
Then I'm sure to get the Core, the grit, A school, the test!
