It seems millions in campaign donations can buy public policy. Charter schools have effectively purchased a chunk of it, granting themselves a privileged status and helping to further privatize education in New York City at the expense of millions of public school children.
If you don't think the idea of raising millions by Bake Sale will work to reverse policies, maybe we should just use our millions of votes instead!
