The Uncommon Brain of a Common-Core Reformer

In the diagram above we see two sample brains.  They are basically the same--with one major exception.  Brain A is the Common Core reformer brain.  Notice it is nearly three times the size of specimen B, a public-school teacher's brain.  (Of course, there are millions of more B-sized brains in the world; this only goes to prove that democratic dialogue is risky at best).  Like an old-style Soviet bureaucrat, micromanaging a command economy because he and his common-core comrades knows best, the Common Core reformer seeks to use his superior brain power to command educational reform.  Given his great advantage in brain size--it's measurable (metrics for "grit" and quality, as indicated by college and career readiness, will soon be available as well; by the way, reforming is a great career choice with expanding opportunities, and you don't actually have to be able to teach!), we trust that he can micromanage millions of minds to success in life, according to his definition of success in life.  It takes an uncommon brain to manufacture a common core and, in the most generous paternalistic fashion imaginable,  foist it upon the little people and, for this, we should be entirely thankful!
